Yes, fingers crossed that 2 lives up to the hype!

Yeah, I saw it at Books A Million. Anytime I'm at the book store, I check out their board games!

Right?! It's great! I just recently saw a board game based on the movie and I kinda want it. I wouldn't mind one bit filling my house with Thing memorabilia hahaha.

I have always loved The Thing! It's iconic and when I spot elements in other movies that seem to pull from this film, I'm like "yesssss!" The dog kennel scene kills me though, haha.

One of my favorite things about this scene is the sheer homage to the original Jurassic Park, one of my favorite films (and books) of all time. The fight itself is pretty epic, but luring the T-Rex with the flare and bursting onto the scene through dino bones is a pretty satisfying moment. The fact that the rex and raptor actually team up is a pretty sweet twist for this modern take on an amazing sci-fi heritage.

I've never seen GoT, or I'd weigh in more. Sounds tragic, though, for sure...

I am soooo partial because I'm a Tomb Raider fangirl, but I've always thought the Tomb Raider movies (both Angelina Jolie and Alicia Vikander versions) were pretty good! And Detective Pikachu surprised the heck out of me--I expected total failure, but was pleasantly surprised with it.
