Updated Spider-Man rankings!

It's been two years since I made my Spider-man rankings and two other movies came out since then and one of those cracked the top three. So lets go back a little bit and give out the former grades of my last list before I throw No Way Home and Across the Spider-Verse into the rankings.

Here's the last list ranking wise:

Spider-Man 3

Ranking: 8

Tier: You're trash Brock

MVP: Emo Spider-man

Amazing Spider-man 2

Ranking: 7

Tier: Eh

MVP: Green Goblin for killing Gwen

Spider-Man Far from Home

Ranking: 6

Tier: Ok

MVP: Iron Man

Amazing Spider-Man

Rank: 5

Tier: Good

MVP: Spider-man

Spider-Man Homecoming

Rank: 4

Tier: Good

MVP: Spider-man/ Michael Keaton

Spider-Man

Rank: 3

Tier: Good

MVP: Green Goblin

Spider-Man 2

Rank: 2

Tier: Amazing

MVP: Doc Ock

Spider-man: Into the Spider-Verse

Rank: 1

Tier: Amazing

MVP: Miles Morales

Thats the former list that held its place for a very short time. Now we're gonna have to switch things up and push some of these movies around a tiny bit. So where do we put No Way Home, the last live action spider-man movie that completely changed the character of Peter Parker and put him in a position to be the friendly neighborhood Spider-man he always was meant to be, to protect the little guy and not be known world wide by everyone under the sun. It was a good movie that had pretty dope ass scenes, even moments that make Peter Parker a better character. He went through a lot during the last film and who knows what path he takes next time around, but the fact is it was a pretty awesome movie. So where does it go on the list? Lets shift some stuff around.

Was it that good to push any of the top three out of their respective spots? I think so. But is this just the bug that plagues my decisions because it was more recent? I don't think so, but their is that nagging feeling in the back of my head that says otherwise. With that said, lets push the OG Spider-Man out of 3rd and place No Way home into that position shall we?

But what about Across the Spider-Verse? I Don't want to do this list twice! Where does that masterpiece fit in on this list? How good was it? Did it have impact? Did it crack the top of the list?

That movie was epic and had so much in the film without making it feel like it. The movie was over two hours long and felt like I was at the theater for an hour just waiting for more of the film to continue. To be honest I would of sat through another hour or more if they wanted to make a four hour movie, It was so good that I wouldn't have minded.

That movie had it all, from plot, character development, twists and turns, to brilliant ending that makes you want more. There was nothing bad about this film. This film solidified itself as Amazing and shows that Sony can actually create something epic with two top tier animated films under their belt in this universe. With that said, here is the new list.

Spider-Man 3

Ranking: 10

Tier: You're trash Brock

MVP: Emo Spider-man

Amazing Spider-man 2

Ranking: 9

Tier: Eh

MVP: Green Goblin for killing Gwen

Spider-Man Far from Home

Ranking: 8

Tier: Ok

MVP: Iron Man

Amazing Spider-Man

Rank: 7

Tier: Good

MVP: Spider-man

Spider-Man Homecoming

Rank: 6

Tier: Good

MVP: Spider-man/ Michael Keaton

Spider-Man

Rank: 5

Tier: Good

MVP: Green Goblin

Spider-Man No Way Home

Rank: 4

Tier: Good

MVP: Triple Peter Parkers

Spider-Man 2

Rank: 3

Tier: Amazing

MVP: Doc Ock

Spider-man: Into the Spider-Verse

Rank: 2

Tier: Amazing

MVP: Miles Morales

Spider-Man Across The Spider-Verse

Rank: 1

Tier: Amazing

MVP: Miles Morales (2x MVP)

There you have it! Spider-man across the Spider-Verse has dethroned it's first movie and took out the rest of its competition like the champion it is. No way Home also pushes its former movies out of the way and heads to 4th on the list, showing that it was the best of the new live action movies thus far and maybe for all time. I really don't know what will beat Across the Spider-Verse other than an epic conclusion to the Miles Morales starred trilogy, which is entirely possible, because they doubled down on awesomeness with Across the Spider-Verse and I can't help but think the next movie that is slated for early 2024 will be the best thing we've ever seen with Spider-Man.

Am I wrong? Is this list the same as yours or would you change anything? What's your list look like?
