Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

First things first....some there's some spoilers before you begin reading!
I love Marvel, but there are some movies they put out that I either don't 'love' or kind of just forget about. Thor 2 and Iron Man 2 made me go "Eh" and move on in life. When I heard of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings it again made me go "Eh". Even with the trailer dropping I wasn't all gung-ho watching it multiple times like some of other Marvel properties. This movie however sucked me into a new world with amazing characters and a great story.

The Legend of the Ten Rings gives everyone a moment to shine, it has incredibly funny moments, and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this film. Was it perfect? No. But it grabbed my attention with both visuals and storytelling.

Awkwafina who plays Katy is absolutely charming and delightful anytime she's on screen and her chemistry with the main character Shang-Chi played by Simu Liu is just perfect. They had a couple gold comedy moments and that's what I loved about the movie, the movie didn't take itself 100% serious. Yes they threw some typical "Marvel" humor in there but it all worked.

The main villain Chiu-wai played by Tony Leung who played In another movie called Red Cliff that was fantastic, played an up and down character that was both bad and good. He was a sympathetic character that you feel for once the movie ends, he really did a fantastic job of making you understand his reasoning of why he does what he does.

Ben Kinglseys character returns and it got me laughing multiple times! Who would of thought after all the crap his character got for being a fake Mandarin In Iron Man 3, how loveable Marvel character he'd become. Love me some "Fake Mandarin".

Meng'er Zhangs character Xu Xialing, Shang-Chi's sister, is just a bad ass, thats where I'll leave that.

Wong makes a appearance and it's definitely a fun short scene and also follows it up in the end credits by setting the next movie up. The way the movie ended with the end credits made me want more, especially with the mid scene where Abomination appears once again, but this time he seems mellowed out, understanding, and friendly towards Wong who I believe befriended him at some point.

This movie is fun, entertaining, we also get a refreshing new story and characters in the MCU. Loved it from beginning to end. I can definitely watch it again and plan to, so with that said rating it wise, I would have to give this movie a 4.7 out of 5 stars!
