The Netflix series follows several kids who have won a special camp experience inside Jurassic Park during the events of Jurassic World.
This show is for "kids" but its definitely for anyone, because this damn show gets intense. The series keeps you on your toes as the kids annoy each other and learn more about each other, developing their characters a little bit before all hell breaks loose on the island.
We dont see what's happening, because we already know the Indominus Rex has escaped and is causing all sorts of chaos in the park, which plays out a little bit in season one, you actually see certain scenes animated that you see in the live action version.
Each season has its enemy the kids need to deal with along with surviving on an island full of dangers alone. The island was evacuated and they never got a chance to escape, so they try to scavenge what they can to live, including creating a place to live.
The characters develop relationships over time that dont seem forced and you tend to care about what happens to them when danger is around the corner.
The dinosaurs are no joke. Some intense moments are had where I thought they killed off kids on a kids show. Jump scares definitely work in this show. The kids backstories all make sense and nothing feels forced character wise.
Its definitely a good show worth checking out, as of right now there is three seasons and I have two episodes left of season 3 to get to, but even with that this show gets a 4.0 out 5 Tyrannosaurus Rex roars from me....its a fun, entertaining show that will have you hooked in no time.
